How Do I Become A Supporter of Triple H?
You can support Triple H by becoming a Listener Member. Listener Membership is quite affordable at $10 per year, with memberships becoming due for renewal on October 1st each year. An optional donation of an amount of your choice will help Triple H to bring Community Radio to Horsham and District.

How do I become a Presenter at Triple H?
First of all, make contact with any of the Presenters or Committee of Triple H, any of them will be able to connect you with the right people. Or, call Heather on 0407 340 496 and she will get the ball rolling with an introduction to the station and training.

I’ve got experience in Community Radio, can I go straight to air?
No you can’t, as we need to do an induction to make sure you know all about how our station works, the safety procedures, our policies and procedures, and how all of our equipment works. Not every station has the same procedures and equipment, we need to know that you will be safe and confidant while you are at Triple H. Your previous experience will be taken into account, and the training modified appropriately. You will get the support you need, and be given the credit you need for your previous experience. Give us a call, because we want you! 0407 340 496

I’m nervous, will there be someone there to help me?
With every trainee, we allocate a mentor who will stay with you after your training, to make sure you are confidant. Your mentor will only stay with you for as long as they are needed. Once you are confidant, we will let you present your program, but, if you want more assistance, we are happy to have your mentor stay with you for a little longer.

Do I have to attend classes?
When there are enough trainee presenters we run classes, but most of the time we find one-to-one training works best. That way we can tailor the training to suit the new presenter.

Do I Need To Have My Own Music?
Most of our presenters prefer to bring in their own music, that way they are able to ensure that the music that they love is what they are playing. We do have a library of CDs and Vinyl that presenters can access. Some presenters bring in their own laptops, tablets and phones that can be connected to our control panel. The choice is up to you, we will do our best to ensure that you have the systems in place to make it happen for you.

Do I need to be computer literate?
So long as you can press “PLAY” on a CD player, you can become a presenter. If you are comfortable with a computer, then by all means you can use your computer, if not, then the CD option suits many of our presenters. We will tailor your training to suit your skills.

Is there a wifi Internet facility while I am at the station?
Yes, Presenters and studio guests have access to free wifi Internet while they are inside our station building. Details for accessing the wifi are on the whiteboard in the main studio.
